Starting Strength & Velocity / Baseball & Softball Pictures / Cheridan Hawkins

Foothill Varsity Boy's Basketball 7:30pm



"Starting strength is defined, as your ability to begin a movement with a high level of strength, and velocity. The stronger you are the faster you will overcome resistance, whether it be your body weight, gravity or the bat."






"If you want to gain weight, not be "the skinny" and play at the next level start eating and training like it."



Take a look at some of the area's most motivated baseball and softball players. These guys and girls know what it takes to work toward the next level. Here we see Carson, Cole, and TJ doing a box-over/snatch workout...
And here we have Chelsea and Cheridan doing the same box-over/snatch workout. By the way....did you know that you are training with one of the top softball pitchers in the NATION! That's right. Cheridan has committed to be an Oregon Duck after this, her senior year of high school. Cheridan led California in strikeouts this past season and was second in the nation in batters fanned! And all as a junior! Keep it up Cher. Check out her box-over/snatch work.
